Looking forward this spring, I will be an exhibitor at the 5th Annual Joara Pottery Festival, May 16-17th at the Old Armory Building in Morganton, North Carolina. To learn more, go to www.joarapotteryfestival.org.

I am very excited to have a recent article published in Pottery Making Illustrated. A section of the article can also be found on Ceramics Arts Daily. In the article titled, “The Spouted Batter Bowl”, I explain the throwing and hand-building processes used to create one-of-a-kind batter bowls. I blend image and form to produce a complete narrative. Thank you North Carolina Arts Council for awarding me a Regional Artist Grant. My grant was used to formulate this website so I can stay connected with customers, students, and the pottery community. Thus far, 2014 has been a very busy year in the studio. I had a solo exhibition at Hamilton Williams Gallery, Morganton North Carolina followed up with the Catawba Valley Pottery and Antiques Festival, Hickory, North Carolina.
